In october 2010 we finally made it to Piran, Slovenia and we had sunny weather as well.

Newfoundland
During my holiday in Newfoundland in 2007 there was this iceberg outside the harbour in St John`s. It passed by very quickly, but looked spectacular. The temperature dropped noticebly while it was there.
After 25 years it was great to be back in Newfoundland ( I worked there in 1981- 82) so together with a friend who worked there at the same time we went back. The weather was just as bad as we remembered, cold and just an inch away from snow (this being May) but the place had not changed much, the people just as friendly.

Keukenhof
Springtime brings lots of bulbs in flower, the Keukenhof is the best place to see them. But in the towns local goverments plant a lot of bulbs as well, so every year it is a great surprise when they show their faces.

Wintertime
We tend to get more snow these last few winters, with a little sun it looks very nice and you don`t have to travel very far to take nice pictures.
