Remembering...
These pages are dedicated to the dogs that crossed the Rainbow Bridge as they contributed to my life, each in it's unique way. Therefore they deserve to be remembered as without them, I would not be where I am now.
I have been a dog lover all my life but fell in love with the Borzoi in May 1966, when I saw the logo of a shoe brand, a Borzoi in full flight. From that day I never looked back. I collected as much info about the breed as I could, but it wasn't until 1990 that there was place for a Borzoi in my life. I became a member of the Dutch Borzoi Club and in December 1992, Carina entered my life, later to be followed by Rostania. Carina was taken way too young but Rostania and later Vjertilo lived a nice long Borzoi life. My first Silken Windhound, Jasmyn, taught me so much about this lovely new breed and it was a very sad day indeed when I lost her to the sepsis, following a whelping gone wrong....
